Understanding the Marangu Route

The Marangu Route, also known as the “Coca-Cola” route, is the most popular path up Mount Kilimanjaro. It offers climbers a relatively straightforward and comfortable trek, making it a preferred choice for those new to high-altitude climbing. The route covers approximately 66 kilometers and typically takes seven days to complete.

At the Climbers Huts in Marangu Route, you will have a chance to buy things like mineral water, chocolate, beer, and soft drinks, unlike other routes where you spend the night at the Campsite in the Mountain.

Marangu Route is a once-in-a-lifetime adventure that will redefine your limits and leave an indelible mark on your soul. Challenge yourself, embrace the beauty of the surroundings, and be amazed by your own strength. Remember, this journey is not just about reaching the summit; it’s about the personal growth you’ll experience along the way.
