Take a week to explore Kenya’s elephant country, Rift Valley lakes and the Maasai Mara. Enjoy two nights in Amboseli, a Lake Naivasha boat ride, wildlife viewing in the Lake Nakuru area and two nights in the Mara. This private expedition combines varied landscapes with time to enjoy your accommodation between game drives. Choose mid-range or luxury lodges and camps and travel with an English-speaking driver-guide in a safari Land Cruiser.

Day by day itinerary
Day 1: Nairobi to Amboseli
Meet your guide at your Nairobi hotel or the airport and travel to Amboseli National Park. Arrive around midday for lunch, then enjoy an afternoon game drive through the plains and swamps. Look for elephants and other wildlife with Kilimanjaro as a backdrop in clear conditions.

Day 2: Full day in Amboseli
Explore Amboseli on morning and afternoon game drives or a full-day outing with a picnic lunch. Visit Observation Hill for panoramic views of the park. A Maasai village visit can be arranged at extra cost. Return to your lodge or camp for dinner.

Day 3: Amboseli to Lake Naivasha
After breakfast, leave Amboseli for Lake Naivasha in the Great Rift Valley. Arrive for lunch and time to relax at your lakeside resort. In the afternoon, take a one-hour boat ride to look for hippos, waterbirds and wildlife along the shoreline.

Day 4: Lake Naivasha to the Lake Nakuru area
Continue to the Lake Nakuru or Lake Elementaita area after breakfast. Explore Lake Nakuru’s wildlife and scenery, including Baboon Cliff and Makalia Falls as conditions and routing allow. Look for rhinos, buffalo and birdlife. Settle into your selected lodge for dinner.

Day 5: Lake Nakuru area to the Maasai Mara
After breakfast, travel to the Maasai Mara. Arrive for lunch and time to settle into your lodge or camp before an afternoon game drive. Explore the open plains and river habitats with your guide, looking for big cats, elephants and other wildlife.

Day 6: Full day in the Maasai Mara
Choose a full-day exploration with a picnic lunch or separate morning and afternoon drives. Migration activity varies with the season and conditions. Optional balloon flights and Maasai village visits are available at extra cost. Return for your farewell safari dinner.

Day 7: Maasai Mara to Nairobi
Enjoy your final breakfast at camp before returning to Nairobi. Stop for lunch at a local restaurant and continue to the airport for your onward travel, bringing your Kenya safari to a close.

The upper mid-range six-traveller rate for April–May requires confirmation. Easter supplement: USD 40 per person per night, 26–29 March 2027. Festive supplement: USD 40 per person per night on 24, 25, 26 and 31 December 2027 and 1 January 2028.
Rates and accommodation availability are subject to confirmation. Changes to park fees or government charges may affect your final quotation. Full board includes breakfast, lunch and dinner; drinks are excluded unless an all-inclusive plan is specified.
Booking Information
A 20% deposit is required at booking. The balance is due 30 days before the tour. For reservations within 25 days of departure, full payment is required at confirmation.
Cancellation charges: 35% at 60–45 days before arrival; 50% at 44–15 days; 100% within 14 days or for a no-show. Confirm complete conditions with your personalised quotation.
Bring soft-sided luggage. Where a domestic flight is included, the stated baggage allowance is 15 kg including hand luggage, subject to airline conditions. Check current entry, health and insurance requirements for every country on your route before travel.
