A Day Trip to Tarangire National Park offers an unforgettable wildlife experience in one of Tanzania’s most beautiful parks. Covering approximately 2,850 square kilometers, Tarangire is part of Tanzania’s famous northern safari circuit.

Game Drive in Tarangire National Park

Upon arrival, your professional safari guide will lead you on a game drive in a 4×4 safari Land Cruiser with a pop-up roof, perfect for wildlife viewing and photography.

Common animals seen in the park include:

Tarangire Crater Day Trip Itinerary

07:00 AM – Pick-up from Arusha
Your guide will pick you up from your hotel and begin the drive to Tarangire National Park.

09:30 AM – Arrive at the Park
After park registration, begin your morning game drive.

Morning Wildlife Viewing
Explore the savannah plains, baobab landscapes, and Tarangire River area in search of wildlife.

12:30 PM – Picnic Lunch
Enjoy lunch at a designated picnic site inside the park.

Afternoon Game Drive
Continue exploring different areas of the park for more wildlife sightings.

04:00 PM – Return to Arusha
Begin the drive back to Arusha, arriving in the early evening.
